The British Red Cross Mobility Aids Service has adopted a new model that delivers wheelchairs directly to users in Somerset.

Prices (2025)

• Wheelchair hire per week £22.00 (including any attachments leg elevators or cushions)
• Delivery/Collection £25.00 (£12.50 each way, to be paid at the same time as the first week hire)

Important information

• We use a third-party courier to deliver our equipment.
• Our wheelchairs are delivered in a large box (85 x 60 x 70cm), service users need to be physically able to unpack and repack the box.
• The box needs to be stored safely as it is needed for returning equipment. (Charges may apply for replacement.)
• We DO NOT deliver to holiday homes, hotels or hospitals.
